Maurice McKnight brings production and ball-hawking value to San Jose State’s secondary
McKnight is a productive, active defensive back for San Jose State, with 60 tackles and 7 passes defended that rank near the top among DBs in the cited stat set, which points to both reliability in run support and real disruption in coverage[1]. Recruiting-era evaluations also describe him as a 6-foot, 175-pound defensive back with strong change of direction and reactive quickness, traits that help explain why he can stay glued to receivers and trigger quickly downhill[2]. He looks like a fit for a team that values range, tackling, and instincts over pure size.
