Oscar Lopez Jr. is a steady, efficient 6-4 guard with scoring touch and sneaky all-around value
In the 2021-22 season at Central Michigan, Oscar Lopez Jr. averaged 10.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 24.9 minutes while shooting 43.8% from the field, 38.5% from three, and 78.8% at the line[1][8]. He brings a compact pro-style package: size for a guard, shot-making, and enough rebounding and toughness to help on both ends, with early-career flashes of efficiency from his DePaul days too[3]. The main question is consistency and whether he can handle a larger creation load, but the scoring efficiency and versatility make him a useful fit for teams needing a reliable two-way backcourt piece[1][13].
