Isaac Vance brings reliable slot production and captain-level leadership to Kent State
Vance was a steady, high-IQ wideout for Kent State, finishing his 2020 season with 17 receptions for 148 yards while also handling punt-return duties, and he was later named a team captain before the 2022 season.[1][2][3] His biggest differentiators are versatility, toughness, and production despite a career marked by multiple season-ending injuries, plus elite off-field value as a four-time Academic All-MAC selection.[2][3] He fits best as a dependable, culture-setting receiver who can contribute in the slot and on special teams rather than as a pure top-end speed threat.[2][3]
