From UGA Walk-On Guard to Proven College Head Coach
Jay McAuley, a gritty walk-on guard for the Georgia Bulldogs in the early 2000s, showcased relentless work ethic and leadership that propelled him to a successful head coaching career—compiling a 58-41 (.586) record at Wofford College from 2020-23, including 15-8 in 2020-21 and 19-13 in 2021-22. Now leading Lassiter High School, his differentiator is building resilient teams through persistence and drive, as highlighted in interviews; ideal for programs valuing culture over flash, though no longer an active college player.
