David Torres brings physical, interior-line upside to Texas State
David Torres profiles as a tough, assignment-sound defensive tackle candidate whose appeal is more about trench reliability than splashy stats. Publicly available football notes tied to players named David Torres point to physicality, disciplined read-and-react play, and the kind of effort coaches like in run defense and gap control, which are traits that matter for a nose tackle fit. There is limited reliable public performance data for a Texas State NT by this name, so his true value will depend on leverage, hand use, and consistency in camp rather than headline numbers.
