Old Dominion’s Iron-Man Corner: Brandon Addison’s Ball-Hawking Legacy
In the 2017 season, Brandon Addison was the definition of dependable at cornerback for Old Dominion, starting every game and finishing as ODU’s career leader in pass breakups with 24. He brought real juice as a disruptor: 43 tackles, 2 interceptions, and a school-record 5 pass breakups in one game against Marshall in 2016, plus he earned All-Conference USA recognition in both 2016 and 2017. The fit question? His tape screams durability, toughness, and instincts more than flash—ideal for a team that wants a steady, competitive CB who stays on the field and makes quarterbacks pay.
