6-foot-5 Freshman RHP Thomas Stabley Brings Power Frame, Big-Inning Upside for Maine
In the 2026 season, Thomas Stabley was a heavy-workload freshman for Maine, posting a 7.51 ERA across 44.1 innings with 27 strikeouts and 21 walks, which shows both real bat-missing ability and the command growth that still needs polishing[1][2]. His 6-foot-5, 230-pound build gives him the look of a classic starter, and Maine repeatedly trusted him in meaningful spots, including five innings of two-run ball in the America East tournament[3][8]. If your team wants size, durability, and upside over finished product, he’s worth a serious look[1][2].
