durable, powerful Indiana guard who won with consistency and grit
Wes Martin was a dependable **left guard** for Indiana, appearing in **50 career games** with **43 starts** and earning **honorable mention All-Big Ten** recognition, a profile that signals durability and steady high-level play rather than flash.[1][3][6] His standout traits were toughness, consistency, and a blue-collar style that made him a trusted interior blocker; that makes him a strong fit for teams valuing experience, physicality, and a player who can anchor a line under pressure.[3][5][6]
