experienced Mercer big man with shot-blocking upside
Fishler is a 7-foot-1 center whose best calling card is interior defense: Mercer’s roster notes he averaged 2.6 blocks per game as a sophomore and has earned two All-Panhandle Conference selections, while his current production profile suggests a low-usage, efficiency-first role with solid finishing touch. He stands out as a physical rim protector and size presence who can change shots, but the box score also shows modest scoring and rebounding volume, so he fits best as a defense-first frontcourt piece rather than a featured offensive anchor.
