Ivy Smith Jr. brings veteran point-guard juice to Grambling State
Ivy Smith Jr. is a seasoned Grambling guard with a reputation as a true floor general: in his college career he was a 2x All-SWAC selection and earned BOXTOROW Second Team All-American honors in 2020, with coaches and previews consistently praising his ability to distribute, attack the paint, and disrupt defenses. His profile has long been built on playmaking and toughness, not empty scoring—he’s the kind of lead guard who can organize an offense, raise the intensity level, and fit well if a team needs poise, defensive edge, and someone who makes teammates better.
