Power-Hitting 3B with Elite Contact Skills and D1 Transfer Ambitions
DaNia Durr, a 5'8" right-handed infielder for Texas Southern, stands out as a power hitter and contact specialist with a 2025 batting average of .263 and a 2026 OPS of .931, showcasing her ability to advance runners and hit for distance. Her differentiators include her intense, faith-driven personality, her role as a D1 transfer candidate seeking a righty 3B spot, and her proven clutch performance in season finales, such as advancing to second on a batted ball and contributing to Texas Southern's 8-0 victory over Alcorn State. While her 2026 stats are limited, her intensity, versatility, and power-contact blend make her a high-fit prospect for teams needing a reliable, aggressive third baseman with leadership potential.
