experienced Texas Southern DB with pro pedigree, but limited recent college production
Derricus Purdy is a veteran defensive back from Texas Southern whose résumé shows major experience and a pro stint with the Chicago Bears, which signals NFL-caliber athletic traits and some legit coverage upside.[2][4][7] His available school record does not show notable college stats, so the best fit is a team valuing veteran instincts, maturity, and depth over flashy stat-sheet production.[4][11]
