McLamb brings a hard-to-hit freshman arm to Gardner-Webb
Glenna McLamb is a 5-foot-9 right-handed pitcher for Gardner-Webb who already showed swing-and-miss potential as a freshman, including a complete-game one-hitter in a 10-2 win over Furman in 2026.[1][6] Her prep profile points to a high-upside arm—she posted a 1.33 ERA and 2.29 strikeouts per inning as a senior at Cape Fear Christian Academy—suggesting she can miss bats and control games when she’s on.[2] If you want a young RHP with present poise and starter traits, she’s worth a look.[1][2]
