Samford’s Consistent, High-Intensity Forward with Elite Steal Production
Kathleen Wheeler, a 5'10" redshirt sophomore forward for the Samford Bulldogs, delivers consistent production in the 2025-26 season with 5.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game while shooting 47% from the floor and 34% from three[1][4]. Her standout differentiator is her elite defensive intensity: she collected 10 steals and 12 blocks, showcasing a relentless, high-energy style that goes beyond stats[4]. Wheeler’s personality is marked by adaptability—she played under a different coach than her peers, reflecting resilience and team-first maturity[5]. With no reported injury history and a 6'0" frame (per Fanstake) that enhances her versatility, she’s a strong fit for teams needing a forward who brings intensity, steals, and steady scoring. You should care because she’s not just a stat contributor; she’s a game-changer with heart and hustle[1][4].
