Jonah Fragus brings strike-throwing value and bullpen reliability to Sacramento State
Fragus has shown real relief-weapon traits: at Fresno City in 2025, he went 3-0 with a 3.79 ERA, five saves, 35 strikeouts and only 10 walks in 38 innings, and in limited 2024 work he punched out 16 hitters in 8.1 innings while limiting free passes. Sacramento State redshirted him in 2026, so the main question is current availability rather than production, but his profile suggests a competitive right-hander who can miss bats, protect leads, and fit best in a high-leverage bullpen role if his arm is healthy and he’s ready to ramp back up.[4]
