Veteran Mississippi State Backcourt Piece
Begley is described by Mississippi State as the team’s most veteran backcourt player, which usually means steady decision-making, coach trust, and fewer costly mistakes than a typical young guard[1]. Because the available sources are limited, there is no reliable public stat profile here; the key reason to care is his experience and likely floor-raising presence in a rotation that includes higher-usage scorers like Charles Rhodes[1]. If your team values poise, maturity, and a guard who can stabilize a lineup, Begley is the kind of fit that tends to quietly help winning basketball[1][4].
