Alex Galland brings veteran poise and field-position value to SJSU
Galland is a seasoned, high-IQ punter whose calling card is reliable field position: at San Jose State in the 2019 season, he averaged 39.7 yards per punt and placed 17 of 47 punts inside the 20, after earning second-team All-Ivy League honors at Yale[1][2]. At 6'2" and 209 pounds, he was described by SJSU as a top-of-depth-chart specialist and holder, which points to trust, versatility, and strong command in pressure moments[2][3].
