Rhode Island’s veteran trench anchor brings proven production and all-conference pedigree
Westley Neal, Jr. has been a steady, physical force for Rhode Island, with a strong 2024 season that included 33 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks, and he earned First Team All-CAA honors[7]. He’s the kind of defender coaches love: experienced, disruptive, and capable of demanding extra attention up front, which helps the rest of the defense feast on negative plays[7]. If you want a tough, battle-tested front-seven presence with proven conference-level impact, he’s a very fit check.
