High-usage Wagner guard with scoring punch and rebounding pop
Michael Carey is a productive Wagner backcourt piece whose game stands out for efficient scoring, strong rebounding for a guard, and proven big-game output; ESPN lists him at 13.2 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists with 48.7% shooting, while Wagner’s 2016-17 notes show he could also carry heavier offensive loads in tournament play. He looks like a fit if you want toughness, board work, and a player who can impact a game beyond the box score, though the limited assist numbers suggest he is more scorer/finisher than pure lead-guard playmaker.[2][3]
