Jaqwan McCauley brings wing-size, junior-college polish, and a tough-luck injury story to UND
McCauley arrived at North Dakota as a 6-foot-6 wing after two productive seasons at Tyler Junior College, where he averaged 12.1 points and 5.1 rebounds as a sophomore and reached double figures 20 times. His UND debut was interrupted by a knee injury after just two games in 2017-18, which makes the bigger question less about talent and more about health and fit. The appeal is obvious: a versatile, physical forward with scoring upside, rebounding punch, and enough toughness to matter if he’s fully right.
