veteran Siena guard whose value is steady playmaking and leadership
In the 2021-22 season, DeAnna Winston was a key Siena veteran guard, playing in 25 games with 23 starts and averaging 24.7 minutes, 4.1 points, 2.6 assists, and 1.5 rebounds while shooting 33.0% from the field and 71.9% at the line[1]. Her best differentiators are her team-first floor game, experience, and leadership—she was named Siena’s Female Comeback Athlete of the Year, served as a captain, and earned MAAC academic recognition, which signals resilience and high-character fit more than pure box-score flash[1][11].
