Delaware State’s physical interior defender with limited public stat trail
Corey Barnes is listed by public football sources as a Delaware State linebacker, not a DT, and there is no reliable public stat line in the gathered material to judge 2026 production. What stands out most is the role fit: if he’s in the rotation, he projects as a tough, compact defender whose value would come from leverage, discipline, and dirty-work snaps rather than flashy box-score numbers. The caution flag is simple—there isn’t enough verified football data here to claim a breakout, so he’s more of a watch-list fit than a proven plug-and-play impact piece.
