Robert Jones brings steady DB depth and special-teams value for San Diego
Robert Jones is listed as a defensive back for San Diego and appears to be a depth piece rather than a headline-grabbing stat monster, with ESPN showing just 2 total tackles in the 2025 regular season. The real appeal is his fit-for-role reliability: if you’re looking for a DB who can stay ready, compete in the room, and help on defense and special teams without needing the ball to find him, he’s the type. The caution flag is that public stat lines are thin, so the evaluation leans more on roster role than splashy production.
