Addison Caldwell is Oakland’s contact-first spark plug with extra pop and speed
In the 2026 season, Caldwell has been a steady top-of-order bat for Oakland, hitting .385 with a .941 OPS, 42 hits, 16 steals, and 16 RBIs through 46 games, while also showing surprise power with a grand slam and a season-high 4 RBIs in one outing. She’s more than a box-score line: Oakland describes her as part of a balanced lineup that kept producing across the order, and her ability to create pressure on the bases makes her a fit for a team that values speed, contact, and versatility.
