Shaheer McBride’s Delaware State legacy is still the benchmark for Hornets receivers
McBride is a proven vertical threat and program icon at Delaware State, where he finished with 201 career catches, 3,007 receiving yards, and 33 touchdowns, plus a standout 2007 season with 50 grabs for 586 yards and 9 scores. His game profile is all about production, route savvy, and big-moment reliability—he helped power Delaware State’s school-record 10-2 run and MEAC title push, and he’s the kind of receiver you want if you value trusted hands and veteran poise over flash.
