Trey Hampton brings old-school frontcourt grit to Georgia State
Trey Hampton is a 6-foot-7 Georgia State forward whose value has long come from physical post play, shot blocking, and efficient finishes around the rim; in the 2009-10 season he was a steady interior option, and Georgia State highlighted him as a player “playing the best basketball of his career,” with a late-season stretch of strong scoring and rebounding. He projects as a fit for teams needing toughness, rim protection, and reliable low-usage production rather than flashy volume—basically the kind of forward who makes possessions harder for everyone else.
