Alabama’s steady walk-on guard with veteran poise and locker-room value
Adam Cottrell is best known as a savvy, low-usage guard who brought senior maturity, humor, and team-first energy to Alabama rather than high-volume scoring. In his 2022-23 season, he appeared in 14 games and scored 8 points, and his career Alabama line shows he was a situational contributor rather than a featured rotation piece[12][10]. What makes him interesting is the stuff that doesn’t always show up in box scores: he was an SEC Academic Honor Roll regular, a long-tenured walk-on, and by several profiles the kind of dependable teammate coaches love to have around[12][7].
