Onye Ibekwe brings low-usage, high-energy frontcourt value for Long Beach State
In the 2025-26 season, Onye Ibekwe is a steady forward for Long Beach State, averaging 4.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and shooting 43.5% from the field, with recent depth-chart data showing he remains in the rotation[7][1]. His value is built less on scoring volume than on physicality, rebounding, and doing the dirty work that stabilizes a lineup. At 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds, he profiles as a sturdy, battle-tested presence who can fit a team that wants toughness, effort, and interior grunt work over flash[5].
