Ohio State's Steady-Handed Sophomore Spark Plug
Sylvester Mayes, Ohio State Buckeyes guard, is averaging 4.2 points, 1.9 assists, and 1.0 rebounds in 14.7 minutes across 20 games this season, shooting 36.0% FG and 30.4% from three. His standout differentiator is elite playmaking vision and court intensity, thriving as a quick-decision distributor who elevates teammates without needing the ball. Reliable and low-turnover (0.9 TO/game), he's a perfect bench spark for teams needing guard depth—watch for his upside if minutes expand.
