a veteran Spartans linebacker with real program DNA
Mike Liranzo is a longtime San Jose State linebacker whose value shows up in consistency, experience, and defensive toughness rather than flash; official SJSU materials list him as a multi-year linebacker who found his role as an outside linebacker and stayed there, while archived game logs show he was active in key spots early in his Spartan career. He’s the kind of player coaches usually trust for discipline, physicality, and know-how — a fit for teams that want a steady, assignment-sound defender who brings veteran presence and resilience to the room.
