Gabrielle Jones-Hayes: veteran Alabama A&M guard turned steadiness-and-leadership blueprint
In her Alabama A&M career, Gabrielle Jones stood out as a true floor general: by 2020-21 she had already ranked among the SWAC leaders in assists, minutes, and steals, and was tracking toward 1,000 career points and 400 assists—classic high-IQ guard production with real two-way value[1]. What makes her compelling beyond the box score is the captaincy, consistency, and durability: she started 81 of 89 games in her career and was a Dean’s List student every semester, signaling a dependable, coachable, high-accountability competitor[1][2].
