Trench-Dominating DL with Redshirt Junior Grit for North Carolina Central Eagles
Jarrett McCarter, a 6'1", 240-lb Redshirt Junior Defensive Lineman for the North Carolina Central Eagles, stands out not just for his 2018 season presence but for his relentless 'Hustle in the Trenches' intensity and game-high tackle consistency. While stats show 6 total tackles across 7 games (including 2-tackle highs at Duke and Norfolk State), his true differentiator is his explosive QB hurry and tackle-for-loss capability that signals elite penetration, paired with a personality defined by non-stop motor and redshirt resilience. With no major injury history noted and a reputation as a 'Mr. Hustle' in the trenches, McCarter is a high-fit, intensity-driven DL who brings physicality and mental toughness perfect for teams needing a disruptive, battle-tested presence in the defensive front.
