6'5" Romanian Center with High-Impact Intensity Despite Limited Stats
Bianca Blanaru, a 6'5" Romanian center for the Georgia Lady Bulldogs, stands out not for her modest 2017-18 stats (1.3 ppg, 1.5 rpg) but for her relentless intensity, physical presence, and unique differentiator as a transfer from Washington State who brought veteran grit to a freshman-heavy roster. Though she played only 26 games and averaged 31.7% FG, her 10-rebound career high and training camp presence with Dwight Howard signal elite potential and team-ready mentality. She’s a high-fit for teams needing a tough, no-nonsense interior defender with international experience and a personality that elevates locker room energy—especially if you value intensity over flash.
