Experienced Samford DL with a low-usage, depth-value profile
Horace Roberts is a Samford defensive lineman whose current stat line suggests a rotational or depth role rather than a high-volume disruption piece, with 2 tackles, 1 assist, and 0.0 sacks on the season in the available data.[1] The appeal here is experience and positional flexibility: Samford’s roster listing shows him as a veteran DL, while his profile dates back to multiple seasons in the program, which usually matters for technique, alignment versatility, and reliability in the room.[3] He’s more “steady, coachable depth” than headline producer right now, so he fits best if your team values maturity, practice consistency, and a proven program presence over splashy production.[1][3]
