Marshall's Senior DE Ryland Wilson: Steady Veteran with Untapped Pass Rush Potential
Ryland Wilson, a senior defensive end for Marshall Thundering Herd, showed reliability in the 2024 season with 11 tackles, 0.5 TFL, a fumble recovery, and 3 QB hurries across 10 games (3 starts at DT).[1] His differentiator is positional versatility—high school DT/OL background translates to interior strength and gap control, ideal for teams needing stout run defenders.[7] No major injury history noted; his hustle shines in QB pressures, hinting at explosive traits. Care because he's a low-risk, experienced leader ready for bigger roles—perfect fit for 3-4 schemes valuing tough, multi-tool linemen.
