Asia Sims brings steady two-way guard play and veteran poise to Tennessee State
Asia Sims is a veteran Tennessee State guard who, in the 2018-19 season, started 26 of 28 games and averaged 3.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 23.6 minutes while shooting 76.0% at the line, with a career-high 15 points against Tennessee Tech showing she can pop when asked.[1][2] Her value is less about flash and more about dependable minutes, defensive activity, and a competitive edge that shows up in steals and hustle plays, which makes her the kind of guard coaches trust to stabilize a lineup.[2][3]
