Tre O’Neal brought steady veteran guard play to Nicholls
Tre O’Neal is a 6-foot-1 guard whose game has long been built on composure, ball security, and reliable two-way effort; in his Nicholls career, he was known more for making the right play than for empty-calorie stat stuffing. His value comes from veteran steadiness, toughness, and the kind of coach-friendly decision-making that keeps an offense organized. If you need a guard who understands roles, competes, and can handle pressure without trying to be the whole show, O’Neal fits the bill.
