Stretch wing with international pedigree and real floor-spacing value
Dina Piterniece is a 6-foot-2 guard/forward whose calling card is her smooth outside shot and excellent range, giving Colorado a versatile 2-3 option when healthy. Colorado notes that injuries slowed her junior season, but also says she is now healthy and ready to go, with experience at the junior-college and international levels adding depth and maturity. Her value is less about box-score volume and more about fit: she can space the floor, defend multiple perimeter spots, and bring a seasoned, adaptable presence to a rotation.
