Bridie Murphy brings veteran strike-throwing and big-game grit to Ball State
In the 2026 season, Bridie Murphy gave Ball State a dependable veteran arm, including a MAC Co-Pitcher of the Week nod after an eight-inning complete-game win over IU Indy with seven strikeouts and five hits allowed. She’s been used in meaningful spots and has shown durability, but her value goes beyond the stat line: the Australian right-hander has a track record of competing deep into games and handling pressure, making her a fit for teams that want poise, innings, and a battle-tested presence in the circle.
