Brett Groves brings under-the-radar line depth for Southern Illinois
Brett Groves is a name to watch because offensive line play is built on reliability, leverage, and consistency, and his profile at Southern Illinois suggests a developmental tackle who can add value through physicality and technique rather than splashy stats. Public game-log data confirms he is part of the Salukis’ 2026 roster, but detailed production numbers are limited, so the key question is fit: if you need a tackle who can absorb coaching, handle the trench work, and grow into a steadier pass-protector/run-blocker, he looks like a practical system fit rather than a headline grabber.[1]
