Darrell Baptist brings veteran size, leverage, and backfield disruption to Middle Tennessee
Darrell Baptist is a **6-3, 236-pound** linebacker who profiles as a physical, experienced presence for the Blue Raiders, and his game is built more on disruption than flashy production. In his Middle Tennessee bio, he was credited with a solo tackle on **10 snaps** in that prior season, while a recent game-stat graphic suggests he can flash real playmaking upside with **34 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks** in the 2025 season context. He looks like a fit for a defense that values downhill toughness, size, and pressure ability from the second level.
