Scrappy Miami (OH) DB with veteran experience and under-the-radar toughness
Jonathan Wells is listed by Miami (OH) as a senior defensive back from Hubbard, Ohio, at 5-foot-8 and 175 pounds, which signals a compact, likely physical defender who has earned his place through consistency rather than flash. His profile suggests a local, battle-tested player with multi-sport athletic roots and a resilient track record dating back to his high school days, which can matter a lot for special teams value and depth in the secondary. If a roster needs attitude, reliability, and a low-maintenance fit, he looks like the kind of defensive back coaches trust.
