UNI Panthers' Clutch Guard from the Epic 2010 Run
Kwadzo Ahelegbe shone as UNI Panthers' guard in the 2009-10 season, earning MVC Tournament Most Outstanding Player honors while leading his team to the Sweet 16 with poise under pressure and big-game intensity[1][2]. Averaging 8.6 PTS, 2.3 REB, and 2.3 AST with 40.0% FG, his differentiator was tournament dominance despite modest regular-season stats similar to peers—think lockdown defense and leadership that turned heads as a Player of the Year candidate[2][5]. No notable injury history; his grit makes him a perfect fit for teams needing a battle-tested combo guard who elevates in March.
