veteran, high-motor USF linebacker with proven production
Patrick Macon is a former JUCO Defensive Player of the Year who brought size, athleticism, and a relentless motor to South Florida, where he made an immediate impact as a tackling machine. In the 2019 season, he led USF with 67 tackles, added 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and a strong debut against Wisconsin with 15 tackles and 4 tackles for loss. His differentiators are experience, downhill physicality, and big-play burst; if you want a linebacker who shows up fast and plays with edge, Macon fits the mold.
