Gabi Wilson’s value is speed, defense, and trusted depth for NC State
Gabi Wilson enters the 2026 season as a senior outfielder for NC State, and her value is the kind coaches love: reliable, fast, and team-first. In 2025, she made 18 appearances, scored 6 runs, and was recognized as an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete; in 2024, she appeared in 30 games as a pinch runner and scored 11 runs, going 4-for-5 in stolen-base attempts. She’s not a headline-grabbing stat machine, but she brings pressure on the bases, defensive flexibility, and steady energy — the stuff that quietly wins innings.
