Reliable Junior CB for Central Michigan with 1 Interception and Starting Role
Derrick Holoman, a junior cornerback for the Central Michigan Chippewas, earned his status as a **starting cornerback** during the 2003 season, showcasing the **intensity and consistency** required to hold a key defensive role in the MAC [2]. While his statistical output includes **1 interception** (ranking 95th of 178 DBs), his true differentiator is his **trust from coaches** as a starter, indicating strong film recognition and tackling reliability beyond raw numbers [1]. As a 2003 recruit from Midland, Holoman brings a **grounded, local pedigree** and the experience of navigating a losing skid with resilience, making him a **dependable fit** for teams needing a steady, battle-tested corner who won't shy away from pressure [2]. He is a **safe, high-character option** rather than a flashy playmaker.
