Matthew Engle brings veteran QB polish and UC Davis poise to the Aggies
Matthew Engle is a senior quarterback at UC Davis who stands out more for command and steadiness than flash, giving the Aggies a calming presence under center. Publicly available team and profile pages confirm his roster spot, but current season stats were not clearly posted in the sources reviewed, so his value is best read through fit: a QB who should help an offense stay organized, avoid mistakes, and handle pressure with veteran composure. If you want a reliable, game-managing leader who can keep an attack on schedule, he’s the kind of fit coaches usually trust.
