Emerging G/F for Alcorn State with High-Intensity Drive Despite Limited Stats
Patrick Horton, a 6'4" guard/forward from Terry, MS, plays for the Alcorn State Braves with notable intensity and a competitive mindset that transcends his current modest stats (3.7 PPG, 32.2% FG in recent games). While not yet a statistical leader, Horton differentiates himself through relentless defensive effort, versatility in switching between guard and forward roles, and a strong team-first personality. He has no known injury history and consistently shows up with high energy, making him a reliable fit for teams seeking depth, hustle, and developmental potential. His differentiator is intensity and adaptability—traits that don’t always show in the numbers but matter greatly in game situations.
