Julian McGarvey brings size, poise, and dual-sport toughness to Marist
A big, athletic quarterback at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, Julian McGarvey has been praised by Marist’s staff for his poise, pocket comfort, and very good footwork, plus the competitive edge that helped fuel a playoff run in high school. In the 2021 season, he saw action in six games as a backup and completed 6 of 17 passes for 74 yards and a touchdown, a small sample that doesn’t fully capture his upside. If you want a QB with feel, mobility, and a calm temperament, he’s the kind of player worth a closer look.
