Matthew Knowles is not a current Clemson DE — the available records point to a former walk-on from the 2000s, not a 2026 roster contributor
The name Matthew Knowles on Clemson football records appears tied to a former defensive end/walk-on from Greenville who played in the 2000s, not a current 2026 Tigers edge defender, and the team’s 2026 statistics page shows no player stats for that season yet.[9][10][12] If you meant a different Matthew Knowles, the available current-profile data is too thin to fairly judge performance, but the existing references suggest a tough, underdog walk-on background rather than a highly ranked, stat-heavy prospect.[5][12][15]
